The Morning After

You may have read the title of this article and thought that it would have nothing to do with the Gospel. This title popped in my mind when I thought about how we think, act, and go about our day, the day after Easter Sunday. We begin remembering His death on Good Friday, many of us having the day off of work to do so. After spending 2 days acknowledging His sacrifice, we arrive at Easter. We celebrate the fact that He has risen! But what about Monday? We go back to work...and we forget about Resurrection Sunday. I wanted to encourage everyone that we can and should celebrate that fact that He has risen everyday. Psalms 86:12 says "I give thanks to you, O Lord my God, with my whole heart, and I will glorify your name forever". The key word is forever. Let us never forget the sacrifice that was made and the eternal joy we have in Him.
